The funny side of the horror movies!

The horror movies scare us but still we watch them for excitement and the supernatural concept. I really love watching Hollywood horror movies and some of the Bollywood horror movies.
I am sure that most of you people also love them. But after watching a horror movie today, I realized that more or less, most of the Hollywood horror movies are the same.

Don’t second me on that? Okay, I will give you reasons to second me!

Most of the Hollywood horror movie starts with a happy couple, their kids and their dog moving into a new house. And where is this ‘new house’ they are moving into? An already haunted looking big house which is away from the civilization (I got you from the first point only). The house already looks scary but the family moves in anyway.

I am right, right? Well, wait till I remind you that the family dog is always the first one to suspect that there’s something wrong with the house. The dog barks persistently but in vain. The happy family sees no wrong in the house and turn deaf ears to the poor animal’s warning.

 Now let me tell you that it depends upon director to director whether they want the dog to live or to die. Well, in maximum of the cases the dog gets killed under mysterious circumstances in the beginning of the film only.

After the dog, it’s always the youngest member of the family to know that there’s an unknown presence in the house. This role is basically played by a cute little girl who is aware of the ghost and plays with the kid ghost if there’s any (they usually have a kid ghost as well whom only this girl can see). In every movie this cute little girl is caught talking or playing with the ghost and the mom or dad thinks she’s playing with herself(so they ignore).

Slowly and steadily the ghost makes its presence feel in front of the family and turns up in a white maxi type night dress. The dress code of the ghost is always a full sleeved white maxi dress straight out from the Victorian era. One question.. Who provide them this particular dress?

A close friend, relative, neighbor or a stranger always appears to help the family in distress. Usually they turn up to die. Yes, to die only. Once the ghost comes to know that this particular 'well wisher' is helping the family it is haunting, it goes after this well wisher and kills him/her.

Next in line of the ghost’s fury is the priest who comes for the ultimate rescue of the family. This also depends upon the director whether he wants to kill the priest in the end or will keep him alive. Usually the priest dies in the end or is gravely injured by the ghost.

Well, after reading this if you don’t agree with me then I am so sorry to say that you are very bad in observing or you don't watch enough horror movies.
