Siblings!

As a single child we enjoy everything alone. Be it the love of our parents, the toy world, our own room et cetera. Sharing starts once our younger sibling comes in our life.
Our siblings are the first friend we make in our life with whom we share our laughter, sorrow, mother, father, books, clothes and what not..
But we don't share the same amount of responsibilities. If you are the older sibling then you definately carry way more responsibilities then your younger brother or sister. Right?
If you are the first born then you earn the designation of the next bread winner of the family after your father(mother as well,if she's working).
The older sibling is expected to grow much before their actual age and understand that they are grown now(fun over). This means whenever there is a sibling fight then you are expected to end it first because your mother will come to remind you that "you should not harm your younger brother/sister because he/she is small and he/she don't understand".
The older sibling should have a heart of gold. This means you should benevolently pass on your priced possessions to your younger sibling who will use your priced possessions just like their other stuffs.
The older sibling should also maintain a good behavior and attitude because people judge your younger sibling by the way you are.
Most of the older siblings start earning early whereas, the younger sibling takes time to choose their path.
If you are the older sibling then you should spend on your younger sibling because your little brother/sister takes pride in showcasing it to the people around(if you didn't knew it before then let me tell you its true).
The older sibling may act superior and scold you for petty things but they will also love you, no matter what.
Having an older sibling is one of the best part of life.

PS, I am the younger sibling and have experienced the things mentioned above.

Belated Happy Siblings Day!
